Joeckel was injured early when he was rolled up on and left the game on a cart. Coach Gus Bradley confirming he was done for the season after the game with a fracture of his ankle. That injury comes just a few days after the team traded its other tackle Eugene Monroe to the Baltimore Ravens for a couple draft picks.

As for the game, the Jags were done in by two Blaine Gabbert interceptions, one for a touchdown, and let one of the league's worst rushing teams go for 143 yards on the ground. Gabbert was pulled from the game in the second half with a hamstring injury. It's the sixth game in his last ten starts where he wasn't able to finish a game he started.
