The SEC Network hired former Heisman Trophy winner and NFL quarterback Tim Tebow for its new pregame show SEC Nation, ESPN announced Monday.
According to a release, Tebow’s primary role will be as an analyst for SEC Nation, the SEC Network’s traveling pregame show that will broadcast from a different SEC campus every week beginning Aug. 28, 2014.
Tebow will also contribute to a variety of ESPN platforms including SportsCenter, ESPN Radio and the network’s Heisman Trophy coverage.
Tebow will make his first appearance as an ESPN analyst during pregame coverage of the BCS National Championship between Florida State and Auburn on Jan. 6.
