Miranda Lambert is putting out fires and extinguishing her bad girl image.

The country megastar covers the new issue of People Country and reveals age has diminished her hell-raising ways.

“That attitude brought me here and got me where I am,” Miranda says. “But that was me in my 20s. The chip on my shoulder is gone.

Something else that’s gone is Mrs. Blake Shelton’s signature Miranda-rita drink. Instead, Miranda mentions she’s “turning into a wine snob!”

The “Automatic” singer adds her newfound soft side is a direct result of finding happiness as a married woman.

“I feel like people have accepted me for who I am, with all the craziness, loudness and fire… At some point, you calm down. I’m happy. I’m more settled. I've put down roots,” she says.

Pick up Miranda on the cover of People Country, available Friday (March 28).

Her new album Platinum drops June 3.
