IT IS COLD... We have Freeze Warnings and plummeting temperatures hitting Northeast Florida ...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 25 expected. It isn’t just chilly. It is Dangerous! Our partners at Florida Urgent Rescue are on the ground right now, working tirelessly to get these shivering pups to safety. Union County Animal Control had dogs in outdoor kennels and was unprepared for extreme weather and continues to not have an emergency foster program in place like other rural counties have, leaving rescue teams with very limited options.
Thankfully, Pet Paradise has stepped in to provide warmth and shelter for all 11 dogs. One of them…very pregnant, another was an extremely anemic dog that is now in a temp foster home while they work on a plan. Florida Urgent Rescue is covering the vet bills and boarding costs. We need your help to keep the heat on and make this rescue possible.
Every dollar counts. Every dog counts. No animal should be left outside in these dangerous freezing temperatures.
