Red Wine May Fight Tooth Decay

A new study says red wine could help prevent tooth decay and gum disease.

Researchers say something in red wine called polyphenols, helps to keep harmful bacteria out of your mouth.

Now, before you go down jugs of red wine, critics say this study is very preliminary and that drinking lots of red wine can still damage your teeth's enamel.

The research was published in the journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry.
