HARDY opened up about “serious anxiety” that he’s been dealing with since a tour bus accident last year. The singer-songwriter shared a statement on Instagram on Tuesday (October 3), announcing that he would cancel upcoming shows as he receives treatment for recent panic attacks.

“I need to be honest with everyone for a second,” HARDY wrote in his statement. “I’ve been dealing with some serious anxiety since the bus accident last year and over the last two weeks, it has taken control of my life. It’s caused me to suffer many panic attacks which have landed me in the hospital. I need a moment to focus on me and to make myself better for my wife, family and you, the fans.

“Unfortunately I will need (to) cancel the two ‘the mockingbird & THE CROW Fall Tour’ shows on Oct. 5th & 7th,” HARDY continued. “refunds for these two shows will be available from point of purchase. The Georgia Rodeo show will be moved to April 12th, 2024. Hold on to your tickets, they will be valid for the new 2024 date.

“My plan is to be back and focused on October 12th,” his statement concluded. “Thank you for understanding, see you soon.”

HARDY and his crew were involved in a bus accident on October 2, 2022, leading to “significant injuries” for three crew members. HARDY asked for continued prayers as he and his team recovered from the accident. He kept fans updated in the following days, and photographer and videographer Tanner Gallagher, who was injured in the accident, later shared photos and an account of what happened. Gallagher said it was a “terrifying” accident, which happened around 2:30 a.m.after the team left a show, and “by the grace of God, we all survived.”

HARDY announced his fall tour dates earlier this year, sharing that Lainey Wilson and Dylan Marlowe would join him. His October 12 show is set for Jonesboro, Arkansas.
