Lauren Alaina Announce New EP Coming In March

Lauren Alaina has announced she will be releasing a new EP later this year. The country star shared the news in an interview on the Today Show on Monday morning.

"I have been singing new songs on the road, that aren't released," Alaina revealed. "I'm working on the third album; it's not released yet. But I decided that the songs we are doing live, we're going to put out an EP on March 6, so that everybody has access to the songs that I've been singing."

Alaina is currently out on the road for her "That Girl Was Me Tour," which was postponed so she could participate in Dancing With The Stars. "I cry every night on stage," Alaina said. "I still cannot believe it. It's the best thing that has ever happened to me. I'm so proud of it. She adds, "I've been opening up for nine years, and it's my first headlining tour. So far we've sold out all of the shows."

Alaina's headlining tour kicked off on January 15 in Nashville, Tennessee and runs through February 8 with a final show in Atlanta, Georgia. A full list of dates included on her "That Girl Was Me Tour" can be seen below. Tickets are available now to the tour.
