Thomas Rhett Take A Tumble While Attempting To Swing On Tree Branch

Thomas Rhett had a little accident while outside with his family on Saturday (March 28). The country star shared a clip on Instagram showing himself falling while swinging on a tree in his back yard.

"It's definitely going to fall off," Rhett comments at the start of the video to which his wife, Lauren Akins, responds, "You think? We used to have one in our backyard and we all used to swing on it."

Despite his concerns, Rhett decided to go for it. He leaps out and the branch immediately snaps sending him straight to the ground. Laying face up, the country singer says, "That hurt so bad, I have a headache now."

His daughter, Ada James, giggles and responds to the situation by asking her dad to "try again" on a different swing while Lauren exclaims, "Welcome to thirty daddy!"

"Well....I'm getting old," Rhett captioned the post.

The full video can be seen below.

Rhett just released the new music video for his current single, "Beer Can't Fix" with Jon Pardi. The clip finds the two soaking up the sunshine on the beach, cruising around on scooters, fishing out on a boat and of course drinking beer.

"Shot the 'Beer Can’t Fix' video a few weeks ago in Key West with my good buddy @jonpardi," Rhett shared on Instagram. "We wanted to share with you all in the hopes that it makes you smile today. Link in bio 😎"

The new music video can be seen here. This summer Rhett will take "Beer Can't Fix" out on the road with him for his "Center Point Road Tour." The tour was delayed due to the coronavirus and will now kick off on July 9 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
