Kane Brown And John Legend Debut Their New Song 'Last Time I Say Sorry'

Kane Brown and John Legend brought their new collaboration, "Last Time I Say Sorry" to ACM Presents: Our Country. Although they couldn't physically be in the same room, the two artists still delivered a heartfelt virtual duet for fans to enjoy at home.

The piano-driven ballad, written by Matt McGinn and Andrew Goldstein, finds Brown and Legend vowing to be better men. "I won’t say I’m sorry over and over/Can’t just say I’m sorry, I’ve gotta show you/ I won’t do it again, I’ll prove my love is true/ I hope the last time I said sorry/ Is the last time I’ll say sorry to you," they sing in the chorus.

ACM Presents: Our Country replaces the 55th Annual ACM Awards which were postponed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and more were other artists featured on the special as well.

The 2020 ACM Awards will now take place a few months later on Wednesday, September 16. The rescheduling moves the event from its typical Sunday night to a Wednesday night, although the ceremony will still air live on CBS at 8PM ET. Country star, Keith Urban, is still set to host the ACM Awards on the new date.

In years past, the ACM Awards have usually taken place in Las Vegas, Nevada. This year, however, the location has yet to be confirmed. Further details including venue and performers will be announced in the coming weeks.
