17-year-old Mohammad and 6-year-old Noor Hasher knew their lives were going to change when their parents divorced in November. But they didn't expect their father to entirely stop speaking to them. Since he left, Mohammad has had to step up and stand in as the father figure for his young sister. He came up big one day when he found out there was a father-daughter dance at her school.
Mohammad woke up one morning to see Noor in a dress instead of her pajamas. He asked her why, and she said she was wearing it to school, even if she couldn't go to the dance. So, he decided that he would take her.
He spent the whole day pampering his little sister. They went shopping and to a salon to get her hair done. Mohammad may not be her father, but he really came through for her in a tough time.
Got to take my baby sister to her first daddy daughter dance the other night. Sorry you don't have a dad but I'll always be there for you ❤ pic.twitter.com/Qo2yNBLZlo— Mohammad Hasher (@its_hashurr) February 6, 2017
