Jacob Davis stopped by the station to perform some music for us and have a little fun. He's from Louisiana and told how he got a degree in environmental science and spent a year on an oil rig. And that's when he realized that he had made a mistake.
So he moved to Nashville to follow his dream, and we're so glad he did.
He was influenced by 90s country, Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson, and by James Taylor and Otis Redding.
Jacob's wife is a James Taylor fan and he made his wife so MAD when he told her this about James Taylor.
Thanks for stopping by Jacob!
Here's his new song, "What I Wanna Be". Or better known as "The Pancake Song".
