Chris Kilpatrick is a sophomore at The Bolles School in Jacksonville and he had a summer internship with a technology company when he realized that not everybody can afford a computer.
He saw an opportunity with some retired computers at the company where he was interning. Instead of junking them, he saved them!
He learned the importance of recycling. And giving. It became his summer project and as of now he has refurbished 20 computers that are being donated to Big Brothers, Big Sisters.
It's really great that the company where he was interning, Urban Mining, got behind this idea and championed Chris. Now he'll remember the year 2020 for doing great things for others!
