Real estate is hot right now and sometimes property is being bought and sold so fast that some of the details get missed.
Like the fact that there might be a water tower that supports a city on the piece of land that was just bought!
There is a municipal building underneath the city of Brooksville, Florida's water tower. A business owner bought the building to convert it into a gym and when he went to look at the property that he just bought, he was told that the parcel included the water tower on the property.
The Brooksville water tower serves a city of 8,500.
Lucky for Brooksville, the new owner was willing to give it back!
