42-year-old Kristopher Beckstrom, music teacher at Landon Middle School, was arrested by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office after being accused of exchanging sexually explicit photos with minors while posing as a 15-year-old boy.
According to our news partners, News4Jax, Beckstrom was booked on felony charges of "producing and promoting the sexual performance by a minor and transmission of harmul material to minors."
The teacher has not been processed yet, however JSO will release more information about the case when he is.
Beckstrom has reportedly worked at the school for 17 years as a band and chorus director. Resident News wrote an article on the music department at the school featuring Beckstrom.
