It takes a real dedication to gratuitous extravagance to turn some ice cream and milk into something like THIS. A restaurant in New York City called Serendipity 3 just set the Guinness World Record for the Most Expensive Milkshake. It costs $100.
So how did they make it that expensive? Basically they just imported the most expensive version of every standard milkshake ingredient, including . . .
Milk from cows in the Channel Islands . . . ice cream from Tahiti . . . a rare caramel sauce from Venezuela . . . and Maraschino cherries from Italy. Oh . . . and edible gold on top.
