George Clooney is apparently fine after his scooter accident in Italy, but after seeing video of the crash, it looks like he's very, very lucky that he wasn't KILLED. An Italian website posted surveillance video of the crash, and it looks BAD.
George was on the Italian island of Sardinia where he's filming a Hulu miniseries adaptation of the novel "Catch-22".
He was riding his scooter to the set... TMZ says he was doing about 60 . . . and he hit the car head-on.
He was rushed to the hospital, where he was treated and released within several hours. He underwent a CAT scan as a precaution . . . but apparently he was fortunate enough to walk away with just scrapes and bruises.
