My boyfriend visited this weekend from St. Petersburg and we packed in a lot this weekend.
Friday night, we had a terrific dinner at Palm Valley Fish Camp in Ponte Vedra. I love that place. I've never had a bad meal there.
I forgot to take a pic of our meals before we gobbled them up, so here's a pic of the restaurant.
Saturday, I wanted to try a new local pizza place, because it was National Pizza Week. Earlier in the week, I had posted a video on the WQIK Facebook page, asking everyone for their favorite local joint and I decided to try Carmines Pie House in Riverside.
It was delicious! I'll definitely have to go back.
The football divisional round playoffs were this weekend so we met some friends at None Blue in Ponte Vedra to watch the Packers-Rams game.
Sunday, we went to do the indoor skydiving at iFly at the St. Johns Town Center. I had bought 6 flights ages ago and kept forgetting to use them so we did on Sunday.

Finally, it was time for THE game of the weekend... Browns vs. Chiefs. In case you don't know, I am a HUGE Browns fan. Unfortunately, they didn't beat the Chiefs and I really am ok with it. Yes, of course, I wanted them to win but I really don't think they're as good as the Chiefs and while the game stayed close, the Browns couldn't pull it off. But what a season! I had forgotten what it was like to cheer for a winning team and it felt so good!
Here's hoping the Browns do even better next year AND that the Jags make the playoffs as well with Urban Meyer at the helm!
