Lots Of Stuff To Do In Jacksonville This Weekend

There is a ton of stuff to do in Jacksonville this weekend... everything from skateboarding and surfing competitions to concerts to a chili cook-off!

Let's start with tonight. Kane Brown performs tonight AND tomorrow night at Daily's Place. Tickets are still available for both shows, although tomorrow night's concert has more tickets for sale. CLICK HERE for a link to the venue to purchase.

While Kane plays at Daily's Place, another concert is happening tomorrow night at Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena. James Taylor and Jackson Brown perform. CLICK HERE for tickets.

Ok, now let's talk food, specifically chli. It is chili season and if you like chili, the 11th annual Moosehaven Chili Cook-off happens tomorrow. It's a fun event to taste all kinds of chili. Now on to sports.... two sports are having competitive events in Jacksonville this weekend.

We'll start with surfing... this weekend, for the first time ever, a professional women’s surfing competition is in Jacksonville. It's the Super Girl Surf Pro Contest and it's in Jax Beach today through Sunday.

The surfing started today and goes until 3:00 this afternoon. More surfing will be tomorrow and Sunday, but in addition, there is a Festival Village at the Sea Walk Pavilion, with all kinds of fun stuff going on.... concerts, an esports video game competition, an all-female DJ competition, fitness classes, a beer and wine garden, food court, and even more activities.

If you like watching skateboarding, the first ever Street League Skateboarding World Championship is happening in Jacksonville tomorrow and Sunday. A skatepark has been built at Riverfront Plaza just for this event. CLICK HERE for more info and to buy tickets.

If you like art, the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens is celebrating its 60th anniversary, so they have free admission all weekend. In addition, they'll have extra activities scheduled all weekend. CLICK HERE for the schedule of events.
