OPERATION MWR CONCERT AND FIREWORKS AT NAVAL STATION MAYPORT, FEATURING BRETT YOUNG AND TWO STORY ROAD ON JUNE 28th!
Naval Station Mayport proudly joins the Navy’s commitment to improving Quality of Service as it launches Operation MWR at 4pm on June 28, 2024. For over a decade, Mayport has been a hub for exceptional concerts. This year, in collaboration with Navy Entertainment, Mayport is thrilled to present a spectacular show featuring country music sensation Brett Young, supported by the talented duo Two Story Road.
Leslie Gould, Director of Fleet and Family Readiness at Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC), emphasizes the importance of such events, stating, "Work-life balance and community fellowship are essential to the well-being and readiness of our Sailors and their families."
As part of Operation MWR, this event is one of 65 free events taking place at Navy installations worldwide from May to June 2024. Admission is free and no advanced registration is required, however, given the popularity of these events, attendees are encouraged to arrive early. Mayport is thrilled to enhance the event by creating a festival-like atmosphere with games and food, to include a finale of fireworks.
