9th Annual Right Whale Festival

Join us for the 9th Annual Right Whale Festival October 29th 10am-4pm. Extinction is scary….and the North Atlantic right whale is one of the world’s most endangered large whale species, with fewer than 500 remaining.

Join us in celebrating the right whales annual return to our coast to give birth to and nurse their young, and learn more about right whales and the ongoing efforts to protect them from extinction.

The festival highlights ocean-themed activities and exhibits that emphasize education and environmentally responsible adventures and products. Family friendly event, we have kids geared programs throughout the day and the ability to speak and learn specialists in the field.

Music by Kalani Rose Band, Crazy Daysies Band, George Aspinall Band and Chillula! Sponsored by Sea to Shore Alliance and NOAA Fisheries.

The Right Whale Festival attracts 5,000+ visitors each year!

Be sure to wear an ocean themed costume to win prizes in the costume contest!
