Maren Morris Reveals Details on Secret Project

Maren Morris is no longer "sworn to secrecy."

The Grammy winner has spilled the scoop on that secret project she exclusively teased with CMT's Cody Alan. In a post on social media, Maren revealed she has collaborated with EDM superstar Zedd and electric music duo Grey on a new song called "The Middle."

"boom," she captioned an image of the song's cover art alongside the bomb and explosion emojis.

Maren first spoke of the secret project in an interview earlier this month, telling Cody the mystery announcement "is not really having to do with an album."

“It’s just like a separate thing that’s coming out in a couple of weeks," Maren said at the time, "and I’m sworn to secrecy. I wish I could say more.”

"The Middle" won't be Maren's first collaboration. She's previously lent her vocals to Dierks Bentley's "I'll Be the Moon" in 2016 and Thomas Rhett's "Craving You," which reached the top of the country charts in 2017.

She's also collaborated with Alicia Keys on CMT Crossroads as well as during an epic performance of "Once" during the 59th Annual Grammy Awards.

Maren returns to the Grammys in 2018 as a nominee, again, and to perform alongside Eric Church and Brothers Osborne in a one-of-a-kind tribute to the victims lost in concert violence.

"The Middle" drops everywhere January 23.
