Lainey Wilson will appear in the new season of comedian Leanne Morgan’s sitcom.

Wilson, who made her acting debut in Yellowstone in 2022, shared the trailer for the upcoming season of Leanne on her Instagram story on Thursday (July 30). The reigning Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year talks with Morgan in a scene included in the sneak peek. Morgan tells the country star, “all you ned is a little time, a little love and a Little Debbie.”

“You really are the strongest woman I know,” Wilson replies.

Leanne premiered in July 2025. The series focuses on a grandmother whose “life is upended when her husband leaves her after 33 years of marriage. She navigates this new chapter with the help of her family, grace, dignity, and jello salad,” reads theh show’s description on IMDb. Morgan created the sitcom with Chuck Lorre and Susan McMartin. She stars in the series alongside Kristen Johnston, Blake Clark, Ryan Stiles and others.

Leanne’s second season premieres on August 27.

Wilson is part of the star-studded, genre-spanning lineup of the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival presented by Capital One, along with BTS, Benson Boone, Cardi B, Goo Goo Dolls, Kenny Chesney, Major Lazer, Muse, Snoop Dogg, Weezer and Zara Larsson, with more to be announced.
