Jason Aldean Serenades His Daughter In Celebration Of Her 2nd Birthday

Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany are celebrating their daughter Navy Rome's second birthday on Thursday (February 4).

To start the special day, the country star sweetly sang "Happy Birthday" to his adorable daughter who had been sleeping in her crib. In a video of the moment shared on Brittany's Instagram, Navy is seen flashing a big smile as soon as she realizes what day it is. At the end of the clip, she adorably asks her parents about balloons and presents before standing up to get her big day going.

"HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY TO MY ANGEL," Brittany wrote alongside the video. "Her dimples, her laugh, her precious little voice... just everything about her is 🙌🏼 I can’t believe it’s been 2 years already😭 Mommy loves you so much baby girl!!!"

Jason also turned to his Instagram page to share a celebratory birthday post for Navy. "Hard to believe this lil nugget is 2 years old today," he captioned a series of photos of his daughter. "I wish all kids could be this sweet and loving. She is a special little girl! Happy bday Navy baby. We love u so much. 🎈 🎂 🥳"

Navy is the little sister to Jason and Brittany's 3-year-old son, Memphis. In October of last year, Brittany revealed that the two kids actually almost shared the same birthday.

"FUN FACT: Both of our babies are IVF babies," Brittany captioned an Instagram post at the time. "We almost put Memphis and Navy in at the same time because after our long infertility journey, multiples seemed AMAZING to me."

"I was talked out of it and Memphis was transferred first," she continued. "How crazy to think that my babies who look almost identical could have been twins? This little cutie pie is... NAVY👆🏼😎"

Jason and Brittany have previously opened up about their struggle with infertility. The country singer previously told People they knew they wanted to have two children close in age together.

"After having our son, we knew we wanted to have two kids," he told the publication in 2018. "I have my two older daughters already, so after Memphis was born we knew we wanted to have another one pretty quick — to go ahead and knock it out and have one that was a little closer in age to him."

"I would much rather knock it out now while we're used to having one in diapers and formula and all of that," he added. "I think it's tougher when you get out of that and wait a couple years and then have to go redo it all. … We just wanted them to be close in age, and we figured we're already in that mindset now, so why not?"

In addition to Memphis and Navy, Jason also has two older daughters from his previous marriage, Keeley and Kendyl.
