April 18th- Disney Bringing back Character Meet-and-Greets

The days of not being able to hug your favorite Disney characters at the parks and take a close photo with them will soon be a distant memory. Disney starting April 18th, will allow non distance photos in these parks again. The resort said Thursday that as early as April 18, leaders will start reintroducing traditional character greetings at Walt Disney World Resorts, Disneyland, as well as on board Disney Cruise Line.

Statement from Youtube: Watch the video below.

It’s time to embrace the magic again!

As early as April 18, we will start reintroducing traditional character greetings at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts, as well as aboard Disney Cruise Line and at Aulani Resort in Hawaii.

That’s right! Very soon, you will once again be able to hug Mickey Mouse, get an autograph from Mulan, and share a laugh with Goofy.

We know many of you have missed these special moments, and your Disney character friends have missed you, too!
