Jacksonville’s 200-Year History- Bicentennial Arts Festival

Farah & Farah, a leading law firm in Florida and Georgia, will honor Jacksonville’s 200-year history by sponsoring the JaxArt200 celebration during the city’s Bicentennial Celebration.

JaxArt200 is a free art festival that will feature art exhibits, live paintings, a children’s art wall, and plenty of fun for the Jacksonville community downtown on Laura Street. The sponsorship honors the diverse local artists whose work adds so much to the community.

“Creativity and art have played a significant role for our firm and our family for generations,” said Eddie Farah, Founding Partner of Farah & Farah. “This sponsorship is one of the ways we want to honor the many artists who have so inspired the community, and to celebrate the city that has been our home for more than 40 years.”

JaxArt200 will be a part of the City of Jacksonville’s Bicentennial Street Festival & Fireworks, which will take place from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, along Laura Street from James Weldon Johnson Park.

The Bicentennial Celebration is Jacksonville’s chance to honor the city’s long history, which began in 1822 – before Florida was even a state. The special event will feature a parade, concerts, and historical exhibits describing significant moments from the city’s past.
