Morgan Wallen returned to his home state for a special performance in Nashville.
On Tuesday night, the prominent country star hit the stage at the 2022 CMA Awards. Wallen kept it cool as he performed his latest single "You Proof." He wore a white cap on backwards and let his gold chains glisten off his white t-shirt and black jean jacket. The song he delivered is third solo single he's released all year. The Tennessee native previously released "Thought You Should Know" and "Don't Think Jesus" at the top of the summer.
Wallen's performance at the CMA's comes not long after he took the stage at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada. The “Whiskey Glasses" singer kicked off his set with a somber version of “Sand In My Boots,” and then segued into an action-packed medley of his hits. Wallen delivered an array of songs that appear on his immense Dangerous: The Double Album, which dropped last year. The country star wrapped up his set but later reappeared alongside Diplo to perform their collaboration "Heartless" live for the first time together.
Dangerous: The Double Album dropped in January 2021 and features 30 tracks including “Sand In My Boots,” “Wasted On You,” and more. It also holds collaborations with Ben Burgess and Chris Stapleton. The bonus version of the album contains three extra tracks including "This Side Of A Dust Cloud," "Bandaid On A Bullet Hole" and an alternate version of "Sand In My Boots." Since the album dropped, Wallen has joined forces with the likes of HARDY, Ernest, and rapper Lil Durk.
