Shania Twain observed Brad Pitt’s birthday in the perfect way.
Twain comments on PEOPLE’s post honoring Pitt, who celebrates his 60th birthday on Monday (December 18). PEOPLE posted a series of photos on Instagram, “taking a trip down memory lane, recognising the Hollywood star’s most iconic roles,” including Ocean’s Eleven, Meet Joe Black and Fight Club, to name just a few of the award-winning actor’s unforgettable films.
Among other commenters, Twain wrote: “…that don’t impress me much, but HBD 😘”
The powerhouse country artist, of course, referenced the line in her smash-hit 90s anthem, “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” from her Come On Over album. Twain famously name-drops Pitt as she sings: “Okay, so you're Brad Pitt/ That don't impress me much/ So you got the looks but have you got the touch/ Don't get me wrong, yeah I think you're alright/ But that won't keep me warm in the middle of the night/ That don't impress me much.”
Twain has since revealed that she’d swap Pitt for Channing Tatum if she were to write the song today. She also spontaneously spotlighted Ryan Reynolds while she performed “That Don’t Impress Me Much” at the 2022 People’s Choice Awards last December. Reynolds said at the time, “this may be the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
