Miami-Dade, FL - A man was run over by his own SUV after stopping to inspect an issue with the vehicle in southwest Miami-Dade on Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred near the 11300 block of Eureka Drive, close to Florida's Turnpike.
According to Miami-Dade Police, the man exited his vehicle to assess the problem when it somehow rolled and struck him.
Aerial footage captured by NBC 6 Miami showed a Jeep Grand Cherokee stopped in the roadway with its hood open.
Nearby, a pair of slide sandals could be seen lying in the street.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the man's identity or the severity of his injuries as the investigation continues.
