The Tortuga Music Festival kicks off on Friday, so "People" asked surf nut Kip Moore to share his Top Five Surfing Spots. It's a reminder that this guy's been riding waves all over the world.
His choices are: Puerto Rico, which he says "has some of the best spots in the world."
He loves Maui because of the "special energy of the waves."
He chose the Dominican Republic because of the "people and the vibe."
He says Costa Rica has "an amazing, world-class wave."
He saved the best for last, when he mentioned Fernandina Beach! He says he hopes to stop down on his way down to playing at the Tortuga Festival, in Ft. Lauderdale this weekend.
So if you live in Fernandina, you might want to look for Kip this week, if you’re at the beach.
