Terrible Boat Crash During Jax Powerboat Races Turns Fatal

What should have been a really fun event turned deadly over the weekend in Jacksonville, when two boats collided during the P1 Jacksonville Grand Prix powerboat races, killing a firefighter from Central Florida. 

According to our news partners at Channel 4, the two boats crashed during the first turn near Memorial Park. The person killed was identified as Lieutenant Mike Salber from the Sanford Fire Department.
