No, the NAS Jax air show is not back on, but the Blue Angels will be here anyway, tomorrow through Friday, practicing over NAS Jax.
Why do they need to practice if there's no air show. According to news reports, these practice sessions will allow the Blue Angels to maintain required flight proficiencies until COVID restrictions are lifted.
The last time we saw them was last May, when they did that flyover over Jax last year during the height of the Covid pandemic and lockdown.
NAS Jax will not be open to the public while the Angels are practicing but that doesn't mean you won't be able to see them if you live or work in the area. So, keep your eyes to the sky, although you may hear them before you see them.
