Breakfast Hacks From The People Who Should Know

In the battle of sleep vs. breakfast, sleep usually wins. In a new survey, 69% of people say they're not willing to get up before 8:00 A.M. just to make breakfast.

Are you willing to get up earlier to cook breakfast?

That's what I thought.

I already get up super early as it is, because I have to be on the radio to wake everyone else up. So, getting up even earlier to cook some eggs is sometimes an insurmountable task for me.

But if I don't eat breakfast, the only option at the radio station is chips and candy in the vending machine until I can leave after work. By then, I'm starving, so I'll eat anything... usually too much of anything and then I might not be hungry for dinner. It just messes up my eating pattern for the whole day.

So, I had to figure out how can I eat breakfast, have it be good and filling and healthy, if possible, but not a lot of work.

I could do a bowl of cereal, but nutritionally, cereal isn't great and it leaves me feeling hungry not long after.

I had read a couple of things about what people in other countries eat for breakfast and I had visited my mom, who has her own breakfast hack, so I thought..... hmmmm.....

So, there you go. If you can get over the fact that you're not eating what we consider to be "breakfast foods," just heat up some leftovers from dinner the night before... it'll take you maybe 2 minutes tops, and then enjoy a hot yummy fast breakfast!

BTW... my pasta breakfast was delicious!
