You could take a road trip at any time to LEGOLAND but don't bother the first weekend of October, because LEGO is coming to Jacksonville!
The BrickUniverse LEGO fan convention will be happening Oct. 2-3 at the Expo Center, located on the Jacksonville Fairgrounds.
The convention will feature numerous models of buildings and landmarks done by professional LEGO artists, including New York City's Woolworth building and Westminster Palace of London.
Other attractions include a LEGO Friends Building area and a Star Wars Zone, where you can build spaceships with thousands of LEGO Star Wars-themed bricks.
