Part Of St. Augustine Outlets Closing Soon

Part of the St. Augustine Outlet Mall will be closing soon in order to redevelop it. The plan is a go after the St. John's County Commissioners approved it earlier this week.

The property's owner wants to redevelop the mall into a mixed use area, consisting of new homes, retail space and a movie theater.

The part of the outlets that will close are the stores located on the side of 95 Northbound. Those are indoor stores. The Premium Outlets located next to 95 Southbound will stay open.

According to a story by our TV partner, Channel 4, the stores are set to close next Jan. 31st.
