Kingfish Tournament Scaling Back To One Day

The Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournament is trying to help participants out and is scaling back to just one day of fishing for their general tournament in July. It's happening because of gas prices.

Normally, the general tournament takes place over two days. This year, it will only be one day, due to "the current gas situation."

According to the website for the tournament, this year's tournament schedule runs from Monday, July 18 through Saturday, July 23rd. The general tournament will happen only on Friday, the 22nd.

This year's Media Day is scheduled for Wednesday, July 13th. Here's a pic of our night guy, Brad, when he fished in Media Day and came in second. He beat me out... I think I fished that year as well but got nuthin'.
