Dolly Parton is one of six acts elected to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. They announced the list of inductees this morning. Remember, Parton initially tried to decline the nomination but later said she would accept it, as Dolly does everything, “gracefully.” She so eloquently accepted it, saying ""From its inception, Rock & Roll has had deep roots in Rhythm & Blues and Country music. It is not defined by any one genre, rather a sound that moves youth culture." Dolly certainly impacted the culture with her music.
She joins Pat Benatar, Duran Duran, Eminem, Eurythmics and Lionel Richie in the Class of 2022 in the performer category.
