Volunteers Needed To Help With USS Orleck

The naval ship, USS Orleck, arrived in Jacksonville in March, but a lot of work needs to be done before it can be turned into a museum.

Volunteers have been doing the work. According to the Jacksonville Historical Naval Ship Association Vice President, Justin Weakland, they have been doing a lot of cleaning as well as painting and setting up exhibits on the ship, which served during the Vietnam war.

They can use even more help. If you're interested in being a volunteer, CLICK HERE.

They hope to open the ship as a museum this summer.
