We didn't get to see it in Canton last Thursday, but we'll get to see quarterback Trevor Lawrence this Friday running the first-team offense against the Browns. Also seeing action for the first time since last year's preseason is the other first round pick of 2021, running back Travis Etienne. Jags coach Doug Pederson announced Wednesday that Lawrence, Etienne and the first-team offensive line will start on Friday for our first 2022 chance to see the Jags at home at TIAA Bank Field at 7pm. The game will be on Fox as well.
Many pundits are optimistic for a much better season for the Jags, after the disastrous Urban Meyer year of 2021. Some even call them the surprise team of 2022.
