Take extra care heading west this afternoon, on the first day of autumn

Heading west over the Buckman or on I-10 this afternoon, here's some potentially life-saving info for the first day of fall: Slow down and be a little more careful on the roads, because there tend to be more car crashes today.

The deal is, the fall equinox is when the sun rises exactly in the east, and sets exactly in the west. And that can cause some serious windshield glare. So be extra careful heading west today!

So clean your windshield, keep the sunglasses handy and slow down!!
